Kidz Church

Bringing the Bible to life by uncovering the treasures of God’s Word. Discovery Land is a “year-round curriculum that brings the Bible to life for kids – it’s Bible-based, Gospel-centered, engaging, visitor-friendly, includes hands-on learning opportunities, and it’s FUN!”

In Discovery Land, we strive to make every minute count. As children arrive, they are engaged in a fun review game of previous lessons followed by a time of worship together in songs, offering and prayer. Children are then dismissed to their age group for Discovery Time, a hands on activity enforcing the lesson to follow. 

In our first hour on Sunday morning, all preschool and elementary children are a part of Discovery Land Kidz Church. Our preschool enjoy a second hour of Discovery Land in our second service to reinforce the lesson of the day.

In our second hour on Sunday morning, our elementary classes go through the Answers curriculum from Answers in Genesis. 

“Answers Bible Curriculum addresses the real-life issues that confront Christians every day. Students get a thorough understanding of the authority and primary teachings of Scripture. All ages will be equipped to defend the Bible, becoming conformed to the image of Christ, as they apply God’s Word in their everyday lives.” ~ Answers in Genesis

• Sunday evenings (5:45 – 7:15 pm) from September to May

• Each evening includes games, Bible lessons and Bible memory time.

• T&T and Sparks compete in the Awana games against area churches.
