Our Staff & Deacon Board

Pastor Scott has lived in southeastern Wisconsin his entire life. He came to Christ following a period of complications due to uncontrolled diabetes. Ever since, he has remained committed to growing in his Christian walk and has served the church in various capacities. Scott served as a lay elder at his previous church for four years, where he taught bible study classes and preached on occasion. Scott and his wife, Diane, have a biblical counseling certificate from the Biblical Counseling Center in Northern Illinois. They have experience with biblical counseling, marriage counseling, stepfamily counseling, and premarital counseling.

Scott has a B.S. in electrical engineering from MSOE and had worked in the secular field since his graduation in 1999. Over the years, Scott felt an increasing calling to be involved in full-time ministry. In 2023, he began taking Seminary courses and accepted an offer to candidate for an associate pastor position with Brookside Baptist Church. He officially came on staff in December of that year. Scott serves as Associate Pastor of Teaching and Counseling. He leads an adult Sunday school class during the first hour, teaches various marriage and family-related classes on Wednesday evenings, and helps out with the men’s Saturday bible studies. Pastor Scott also helps with the biblical counseling needs at Brookside and preaches regularly. Scott completed his M.A. in Biblical Studies from Bob Jones Seminary in the fall of 2025.

Scott is married to his wife, Diane. They have one daughter, Victoria, who is married to Anthony. Anthony and Victoria have two daughters, Esther and Eleanor. Scott and Diane have a passion for hospitality and helping believers grow in their faith. They enjoy traveling, watching documentaries, hiking, and taking their dog, Genesis, for walks. They also occasionally volunteer with Answers in Genesis.
